Teachers Hit Students In Cianjur Sanctioned By West Java Education Office, Can't Teach
Acting Governor of West Java Beyxi Machmudin said teachers who beat students in Cianjur some time ago had been followed up by sanctions by the West Java Education Office.
"It has been followed up by the principal and the office through the Office of the Office of -KCD-, it has been sanctioned not to teach," Bey said in Bandung as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 11.
Bey said that his party strongly condemns the bullying incident that occurred in the world of education.
Therefore, he asked all parties to be involved in supervising so that bullying does not occur again.
"Yes, if it used to be from senior to junior, then fellow students, there were more teachers to students, even some places for students to go to teachers, now we have to monitor together so that it doesn't happen again. Regents, parents, sub-district heads, it also plays an important role so come together," he said.
Based on the video footage circulating, the act of violence allegedly occurred in class IX.
In the video with a duration of about 18 seconds, the teacher can be seen slamming, hitting, and pulling the victim until he falls.
Even the act was carried out in front of other student students who wanted to take part in the lesson hours. Even though the student had apologized, the teacher even became more and more.
"Sorry mom, I just saw my friend smile," said the victim in the video circulating.
