The Vice President Will Attend Cabinet Session At IKN

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin will leave for the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, Thursday (12/9) to attend a cabinet meeting at the IKN Presidential Palace.

"Yes, that's right (Thursday, we will go to IKN)," said Spokesperson for Vice President Masduki Baidlowi as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 11.

Masduki said the Vice President would attend the last cabinet meeting with President Joko Widodo at the IKN Palace, Friday (13/9).

The vice president will be at IKN for one night, before returning to Jakarta.

President Joko Widodo is scheduled to have an office in IKN from September 12 to October 19, 2024, or until one day before the inauguration of the Elected President and Vice President.

The President is also scheduled to hold a cabinet meeting at the IKN Presidential Palace, this week.

Jokowi also stated that he would continue to tour work visits to areas on the sidelines of office activities in IKN.
