5 PDIP Management SK Plaintiff Apologizes To Megawati: We Were Trapped And Given A Reward Of IDR 300 Thousand
The five plaintiffs of the Decree (SK) for the management of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP in 2024-2025 apologized to Megawati Soekarnoputri as the general chairman of the party. They admitted that they were used and only received Rp. 300 thousand in compensation.
This apology was represented by Jairi who was one of the plaintiffs at a press conference in Cengkareng, West Java, Wednesday, September 11. At that time, Djupri, Manto, Suwari, and Sujoko were also present.
"I represent my friends, first of all I apologize to the Chairperson of the PDIP, Mrs. Hajah Megawati Soekarnoputri and the entire PDIP extended family throughout Indonesia," said Jairi.
"On the occasion tonight, I stated or clarified that we felt trapped by a lawsuit addressed to our general chairman, we were only asked to sign on blank paper, after that we were rewarded Rp. 300 thousand," he continued.
Jairi admitted that at that time he and his four colleagues, who were then SK plaintiffs, met with Anggiat BM Manalu at a winning team post. They were asked to provide support for democracy by putting their signatures on blank paper.
"That's right (we didn't know the blank paper would be used for a power of attorney to sue the PDIP DPP Decree, ed). So we signed the blank paper, there was no direction or explanation for us. We just asked for a signature," explained Jairi.
At that time, there were no parties who brought the name of the party. That's all that was conveyed to us. In this case, the person who conveyed it was Mr. Anggiat M Manalu, "he said.
Jairi and his four colleagues have made statements to revoke the lawsuit. They immediately filed a revocation of the lawsuit's power of attorney to the State Administrative Court (PTUN).
"That's why tonight we made a letter of revocation of the lawsuit on behalf of us. And we did not give power to anyone, including the Manalu BM Anggiat. We never gave power. That's why we will withdraw the charge," said Jairi.
Jairi and his colleagues hope that this kind of incident will not happen again. Do not let anyone take advantage of someone's ignorance for certain reasons.
"Hopefully this case will be a lesson in the future so that it is no longer used by irresponsible parties," he said.
"Once again we apologize to our general chairman, Mrs. Hajah Megawati Soekarnoputri, and the entire PDIP extended family," concluded Jairi.
