Thin Ash Rain From Hot Clouds Of Merapi Falling Down In Magelang
MAGELANG - Some areas of Dukun Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Central Java, experienced light ash rain after hot clouds from Merapi's avalanche.

The hot clouds of Merapi occurred at 07.06 WIB recorded on a seismogram with an amplitude of 60 mm and a duration of 135 seconds. The distance was about 1,500 meters to the southwest and the wind was blowing to the north. Ismanto said ash clings to the hat, clothes, and leaves.
Guruh Merapi Volunteer Agus Wahyudi said that temporary light ash rain occurred in Paten, Sengi, Mangunsoko, and Banyubiru Villages, Dukun District.
"Based on the temporary reports of several villages in the Dukun Subdistrict, there was light ash rain. The temporary reports will be updated later", he said.
