Meeting Residents In Mutihan Solo Village, Gibran Had Time To Review Warung That Was Damaged By Ormas
SOLO - Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited residents of Solo, Central Java, ahead of the one-month inauguration of the President-Vice President.
During his visit to Mutihan Village, Sondakan Village, Laweyan District, Solo, Central Java, Gibran came with Respati Ardi-Astrid Widayani.
The local community enthusiastically welcomed their arrival. In fact, some mothers kept shouting the names of the three.
Asked about his arrival, Gibran said he was also reviewing a stall owned by a resident that had been damaged by one of the community organisations.
‘I remember, there happened to be a stall here that was damaged by a mass organisation. We give special attention, now it's back to good,’ Gibran was quoted as saying by Antara, Tuesday, 10 September.
He hopes that the community will not be traumatised by the incident. On that occasion, Gibran also gave books, milk, and bought food from local stalls to be distributed to the community.
Asked about the figures of Respati and Astrid, according to him, they are young people who have a lot of experience.
‘Organisational experience, and most importantly, the desire to go directly to the people,’ he said.
Meanwhile, Respati said the three of them came to stay in touch with residents and hear their complaints.
‘We want to get closer to the community and want to hear what the community is complaining about,’ he said.
Regarding the figure of Gibran, he made him a mentor.
