Pythons 7 Meter 'Puffy' After Season Cattle, Moving To Forest Aceh Besar

BANDA ACEH - The Aceh Besar Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) evacuated a seven-meter python into the local forest. This snake was previously found by residents after swallowing a calf.

Head of BPBD Aceh Besar Farhan AP in Aceh Besar said that the seven-meter python was first discovered by residents of Krung Kala Village, Lhoong Aceh Besar District, to be precise, in irrigation.

"During the evacuation, it turned out that the python had swallowed a calf belonging to local residents," said Farhan AP, quoted by Antara, Monday, March 29.

The evacuation of the snake was carried out by a BPBD officer who understood the technique of taming these dangerous reptile animals. This officer was accompanied by eight other personnel.

"The officers immediately observed the position of the snakes and made arrests. The pythons were evacuated by the BPBD rescue car," continued Farhan.

After that the python was again released by officers to the forest area in the discovery area.

"The python has been released by officers into its natural habitat in the Lhoong District area," said Farhan AP.
