Request For Rewards To Gibran, Strict On Students And Teachers Who Do Not Follow The Prokes

JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo asked the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, to act firmly on students and teachers who did not follow health protocols during face-to-face learning (PTM).

"Earlier, I had a chance to chat with students, I asked what was difficult (from the PTM simulation, ed.), He said, which was difficult to istikamah. Indeed, this takes practice, it's a little fierce, it's okay," he said while reviewing PTM simulation activities in MAN 1 Surakarta in Solo, reported by Antara, Monday, March 29.

On this occasion, he also left a message to the mayor to continue monitoring all schools in the city of Solo to ensure that health protocols are running well.

"I entrusted it to the mayor so that I could go to the left, right, to all schools and was negated because otherwise there would be no discipline," he said.

Regarding the PTM trial, the Central Java Provincial Government will not take risks to ensure the safety of teachers and students.

"I will not be 'gambling' (betting) related to this trial so that teachers are comfortable, students are comfortable. Children can support learning (face-to-face, ed.) And there are no contagious diseases. Here the teachers have also been vaccinated. , the second dose will be done next week, "he said.

He said PTM implementation at the high school level was planned to start on April 5, 2021. Prior to that, according to him, the implementation of PTM was carried out in stages by looking at existing evaluations.

"The PTM simulation is gradual, if this evaluation is successful then it can be added, the students can be added, the school can be added, but later if the situation does not support us, we will not dare to gamble," he said.

He said that so far it is one of the things considered safe for students to follow PTM accompanied by their parents.

"That's the best way, if he walks by public transportation, it will be vulnerable. After all, parents need to make sure their children are safe, teachers are also safe," he said.

Gibran said that so far the evaluation of the PTM simulation has been carried out more on teachers, namely to be more stringent in supervising students.

"Yesterday I checked that there were still those who did not wear a 'faceshield' (face shield). Later there is an SOP. Teachers who do not obey will be admonished. If everything goes, they must follow the SOP," he said.

He said that PTM will not be mandatory later, even parents who are not sure about the COVID-19 pandemic situation will not be forced to allow their children to participate in PTM.

"If you do not allow it, you are not sure that the children can follow from home. You are obliged to pick up and drop off, you cannot go alone, except for those whose houses are near.
