100th Center Inaugurated, EF Kids & Teens Announces CSR Training English School Teachers
JAKARTA - The multinational company as well as the English school network, EF Kids & Teens, announced the inauguration of the 100th center located in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, which marks an important achievement in its three-decade commitment to empowering Indonesia's young generation with world-class English education. As the largest English course provider in Indonesia with more than 80,000 active students, EF Kids & Teens continues to be determined to equip the next generation with the skills needed to be successful globally.
In commemoration of this achievement, EF Kids & Teens held an event entitled "The Inauguration of the 100th Center: Three Decades Forming A Competent Generation" at the Kinandari Platform, Jagakarsa, last Wednesday.
EF Kids & Teens also announced Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in the form of English language training by EF teachers to educators in several public schools in Jagakarsa. The signing of the MoU was attended by the Acting Head of the Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Anang Ristanto, Head of the South Jakarta 1 Education Sub-dept., Sarwoko, school, as well as representatives of parents and students. At this event, EF Kids & Teens students showed their skills by presenting in English.
"For three decades, we have grown rapidly and become trusted partners for parents in providing the best English education for their children. This success cannot be separated from the dedication of teachers in all EF Kids & Teens centers which are an important pillar of our journey. Therefore, this CSR initiative is not only focused on improving students' abilities, but also on supporting educators in these schools in improving their teaching methods," said EF Kids & Teens President Director Matthew Kenley when met at the event location, through a statement received on Saturday, September 7th.
Director of Operations EF Kids & Teens, Christopher Lloyd explained, currently EF Kids & Teens offers four educational programs specifically designed for children and adolescents aged 3 to 18 years, namely Small Stars, High Flyers, Trailblazers and Frontrunners. Especially for Frontrunners, this curriculum not only teaches English language skills such as reading and writing, it still helps students develop public speaking and creative writing capabilities.
"This Frontrunner curriculum is the result of research and in-depth development, to ensure that the programs we offer are always relevant to current needs. We believe that education is not only about language, but also about equipping the younger generation with skills that will help them succeed in various aspects of life.
