As Of Today, COVID-19 Vaccination In DKI Reaches 1,140,388 People
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has released the development of the COVID-19 vaccination in the Capital City. As of today, 1,140,388 targets have received the first phase 1 and 2 vaccination doses. Meanwhile, the second vaccination dose in both stages reached 353,105 people.
The first stage of vaccination is for health workers. Meanwhile, the second stage targets public service officers and the elderly.
"The number of targets for the second stage of vaccination is 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination for the first dose has reached 38 percent and the second dose has reached 11.8 percent," said the Head of Disease Prevention and Control, DKI Health Office, Dwi Oktavia in his statement, Monday, 29. March.
Dwi detailed, health workers who had been vaccinated with the first dose reached 109.7 percent and the second dose was 91.4 percent, with a vaccination target of 112,301 people.
Meanwhile, in the elderly group, the first dose of vaccination has been carried out as much as 47.3 percent and the second dose covers 3.4 percent, with a vaccination target of 911,631 people.
"In the public service group, the first dose of vaccination was 29.6 percent and the second dose was 11.1 percent, with a vaccination target of 1,976,757 people," he continued.
Meanwhile, on a national scale, currently there are 7,394,421 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 3,313,494 the second dose of vaccination. Meanwhile, the total vaccination targets reached 40,349,051 people.
The COVID-19 vaccination program targets 181.5 million recipients. Those targeted are people aged 18 years and over. Later, vaccine recipients will receive twice the injection dose.
Overall, this national vaccination will be carried out from April 2021 to March 2022 and consists of several stages.
In the first phase, the vaccine is intended for 1.5 million health workers. In the second stage, COVID-19 vaccination is for the elderly and public service workers. The target is 21.5 million elderly and 16.9 million public workers.
They are market traders, educators, religious leaders and counselors, representatives of the people, officials, government, civil servants, TNI-Polri, tourism officers, public services, public transportation workers, athletes, and media workers. This program lasts until May.
Furthermore, vaccination will be carried out for 63.9 million vulnerable people or people living in areas with high risk of infection. Then, other communities as many as 77.7 million people.
