Most Of The Time, COVID-19 Is Transmitted By Hand
JAKARTA - The government has again announced an increase in the number of patients who tested positive for COVID-19. Based on the latest data, 109 new positive patient cases were recorded, bringing the total to 1,155 cases spread throughout Indonesia.
According to the Government Spokesperson for Handling Corona Achmad Yurianto, cases of COVID-19 transmission still occur. With the distribution of cases occurred in DKI Jakarta, followed by West Java, Banten, Central Java to Bali.
"We are still concerned about this condition because it is proven that transmission is still happening," Yurianto said in a press conference at Graha BNPB, Saturday, March 28.
Yurianto does not tire of reminding the public to prevent transmission of COVID-19 by always washing their hands, both before and after carrying out any activities. Because, according to Yuri, most of the transmission of the corona virus occurs by hand.
"Because the data shows that the most transmission is precisely due to intermediary hands," said Yuri.
By washing hands with running water regularly, it can prevent transmission of the virus. In addition, it is a good idea to postpone all nonessential outdoor activities in advance. The goal is to break the chain of distribution.
As for the accumulative number of cases of COVID-19, an increase of 109 people. Meanwhile, the number of patients who were declared cured increased from 13 to 59. The number of patients who died increased by 15 to 102 cases.
