TBBM Development, The Deputy Governor Of NTT Is Happy To Buy BBM Near Su
LABUAN BAJO - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and Pertamina will build an Oil Fuel Terminal (TBBM) depot around the Wae Kelambu port area, Labuan Bajo, NTT. The project, which is expected to be completed in 2023, will facilitate the distribution of BBM for the community.
"This port is extraordinary by meeting international standards, thanks to the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of BUMN, and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. It's a great collaboration. The distance traveled for BBM has also become closer, "said Deputy Governor of NTT Josef Nae Soi, in his statement, Friday, March 26.
The same thing was also conveyed by Budi Karya during the Groundbreaking of the TBBM development at the Multipurpose Wae Kelambu Terminal. According to him, this project is being carried out to support Labuan Bajo to become a Super Premium Tourism Destination.
"The TBBM development is part of the construction of the Multipurpose Wae Kelambu Terminal, in order to support the tourism sector in Labuan Bajo," said the Minister of Transportation.
On the same occasion, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif, said that the TBBM development which is targeted to be completed in 2023 is an effort to increase national energy security and support Labuan Bajo as one of the super priority tourist destinations being developed.
"With a capacity of 1500 kl, this will increase the fuel stock in Labuan Bajo from 6 days to 17 days. In addition, it is hoped that the fuel distribution chain will be closer," said the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
TBBM Labuan Bajo Port will be a fuel barn for Manggarai and West Manggarai Regencies. The project is carried out to support Labuan Bajo to become a Super Premium Tourism Destination.
TBBM Labuan Bajo will have six BBM tanks with a storage capacity of 1,500 kiloliters. The types of fuel provided are aviation fuel, gasoline (Premium, Pertalite, Pertamax), gasoil (Biosolar, Dexlite, Dex). Each type is given an allocation of 500 KL.
