Pope Francis' Story Thanks And Gives Rosario A Pregnant Mother Who Waiting For Him
JAKARTA - Pope Francis had blessed and provided a rosario to Veronica Intan Dwi Christanti, who was nine months pregnant on her way to the Cathedral Church.
This moment was caught on a one-minute video obtained by VOI. Veronica and her husband, Gregorius Bangkit Kristantyo, were seen waiting for the Innova Zenix which was boarded by Pope Francis and escorted by security from Paspampres.
Ketika mobil Innova berlir putih itu melewat, Bangkit kemudian berteriak, Mr. Whale, please, bless my child (help my son), katanya, Rabu, 4 September.
The car then stopped in front of Bangkit and Veronica. The pregnant woman was then asked to approach.
When approaching, the Pope then took his hand out of the window of the car that was already open. "When will give birth," he asked in English.
"Next week, next week," said Bangkit enthusiastically.
Pope Francis then put his hand on Veronika's stomach. He then bless the child in his womb and make crosses.
"Thank you, pope, thank you, pope," said Bangkit while holding back the emotion.
Pope Francis then had a dialogue with Bangkit. He asked what name he would give to the baby when he was born.
Rise then answer, 'Cencilia.'

After hearing that, Pope Francis full of smiles then gave the rosario in a red-warned leather place that he had blessed. This is for Cecilia (this is for Cecilia)," he said.
Before continuing his journey, Pope Francis then blessed the couple and continued his journey. As for when contacted, Bangkit admitted that he did not believe in the incident.
"Yes, I really didn't expect my wife and I to be called directly by the Pope to be blessed," he said when contacted via text message.
Bangkit said that with his wife, he had deliberately waited for Pope Francis to ask for blessings. They waited on the streets that the entourage from the Vatican Embassy went through to the Cathedral Church, Jakarta.
"We waited on the side of the road then moved forward when the Pope's Father passed. Although it was previously blocked because it should not be too close, Praise God, given the opportunity to receive blessings for the baby in the womb and given a rosario by the Father of the Pope," said Bangkit.
"How great a blessing from God through the Father of the Pope for our children," he concluded.
