Pope Francis' Message To Bishops To Seminaris: Giving Bibles Doesn't Mean Imposing Faith
JAKARTA - Pope Francis reminded him not to force Catholic faith. He conveyed this message to bishops, priests, nurses, witnesses, seminarists and preachers when visiting the Cathedral Church.
"Reporting the Bible does not mean imposing our faith or placing it in a position that is contrary to the faith of others," Pope Francis said at the Cathedral Church, Wednesday, September 4.
This message is an elaboration of a big message related to brotherhood. Pope Francis said reporting the Bible must be with sincere actions and describe giving and joy.
"Always with great respect and brotherhood for everyone," said the Vatican Head of State.
Only with sincere love, said Pope Francis, the message of brotherhood can be spread widely to all groups. He wants Indonesian Catholics to interpret the message with deep love and love.
"I invite you to always be open and friendly to everyone," the Pope said.
Regarding the message of brotherhood, the Pope emphasized the importance of holding hands. Do not let the difference between people in Indonesia tear apart brotherhood.
According to the Pope, loving one another is a true picture of faith. Because, an absolute difference is a space to reinforce brotherhood.
