JAKARTA - After its global launch last year, Volvo EX30 was marketed in various regions including Southeast Asia. Malaysia is one of the countries that will welcome the presence of this model at the end of September.
Prior to being launched in neighboring countries, the Swedish manufacturer was starting the first step in introducing the model. The EX30 model was seen in the Subang Ria Recreational Park area in Selangor, Malaysia.
Launching from Paultan, Tuesday, September 3, this compact SUV is shrouded in camouflage with the tagline Big on Safety and Big on Tech as well as calls to the public Be The First to Drive or Be the First to Drive by listing a place at KL Base on September 26-29.
The date is for customers who want to taste the driving taste from EX30 on the weekend after its official launch on September 25.
Not only that, registration of enthusiasts has also been opened and several EV units are seen being transported using trailers. It is said that the car will be assembled locally (CKD) at the Volvo factory in Shah Alam, Malaysia and the price itself has not been disclosed.
The EX30 model is the smallest car that Volvo has ever presented with a length of 4,223 mm, a width of 1,837 mm, and a height of 1,555 mm. Meanwhile, the wheelbase of this SUV reached 2,650 mm.

Volvo offers an EX30 with a range of up to 476 km according to the WLTP with NMC and LFP battery options. The car is equipped with fast DC charging capabilities, allowing the battery to charge from 10-80 percent in about 26 minutes.
Then, its performance is supported by a single electric motorbike driven by a rear wheel with a power of 200 kW by being able to run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.3 seconds.
Speaking of prices in Indonesia, EX30 is priced from IDR 890 million to IDR 1.160 billion On The Road DKI Jakarta for the Indonesian market.
