Participants Of Pope Francis Mass From Jakarta Are Urged To Increase Public Transportation, This Is The Service
Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, appealed to the Supreme Mass participants who would be led by Pope Francis at the Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK) Main Stadium who had a close travel distance from the Misa location to use public transportation.
"Grand Mass Participants who come from the Jakarta area and its surroundings are advised to use public transportation services and the Jakarta MRT train," said Syafrin in his statement, Monday, September 2.
At the Jakarta MRT service, Misa Agung participants can go down at Senayan Station or Istora Mandiri Station. Meanwhile, the Transjakarta public transportation service that crosses the GBK area is:

"Akbar mass participants (by bus) will be dropped at GBK and will also be picked up again after the Grand Mass is over," said Syafrin.
"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements set, obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," he explained.
Pope Francis is scheduled to make an apoltolic trip to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, and Singapore on September 2-13, 2024. Indonesia became the first country in a series of visits by Pope Francis to the Asia Pacific region, namely from 3 to September 6, 2024.
Pope Francis is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on September 3 at noon. Then, the next day or on September 4, the leader of the Catholics is scheduled to meet President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta starting at 09.00 WIB.
At 16.00 WIB until completion, Pope Francis is planned to visit the Cathedral Church.
Then, on September 5 at 08.30 WIB Pope Francis is scheduled to attend an interfaith meeting at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, and continue with meetings with beneficiaries of charitable organizations at the Indonesian Bishops' Conference Office.
