Megawati Condolences To Prabowo

JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform as well as PDI-P politician Abdullah Azwar Anas said that his party's general chairman, Megawati Soekarnoputri, welcomed Prabowo Subianto.

This was said by Azwar when representing the PDI-P to attend the Gerindra Party Cadre Apple at the Indonesia Arena, Central Jakarta, Saturday, August 31.

"Greetings, I'm sorry for not being able to attend today. We said goodbye to Prabowo," Azwar said when asked by reporters.

Azwar said that Megawati could not attend the Gerindra Cadre Apple event because she was busy signing a letter of recommendation for regional head candidates to be promoted by the PDI-P.

He admitted that Mega did not leave another message when he allowed him to attend the Gerindra Party Cadre Apple.

To note, the Gerindra Party held a cadre rally held in the Indonesia Arena area.

In this activity, several party and ministerial figures were seen present, including Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko.

In addition, several party officials were also monitored, including NasDem Chairman Surya Paloh, PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, Gelora Chair Anis Matta, Plt. General Chairperson of PPP Mardiono, and Golkar Party cadre Nurul Arifien.
