Rano Karno Regarding Dharma-Kun Promises JIS Free For Jakmania: I Don't Want To Promise, I Can't
JAKARTA - The candidate for deputy governor of Jakarta, Rano Karno, stated that the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) could not be free even for Persija football clubs. This kind of promise he called unrealistic.
This was conveyed in response to the statement of the governor candidate from an independent route, Dharma Porengkun, who claimed that he would not charge Jakmania when supporting Persija to compete at JIS.
"Gratis is impossible. I don't want promises like that, it's impossible," Rano told reporters in Jakarta, Saturday, August 31.
Rano said there were operational costs that had to be borne. However, instead, he will open a special price discourse for Jakmania if Persija competes in JIS.
This kind of step, he continued, has been taken at a number of clubs abroad. If he is a member, he is a member. That's the price of a special ticket. It only means having to take a long time,' he said.
"What does that mean? The term is member during one round. There must be that. It's part of a business that's designed like that," continued Rano.
As previously reported, Dharma Pongrekun boasted that he would be free to use the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) for the Persija Jakarta club if he was elected as the Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta with his partner, Kun Wardana. This policy will be reviewed so that Jakmania can watch his favorite club.
"So we will review how good it is for JIS to be used, it can be enjoyed by Persija fans, especially my friends from Jakmania. If it is possible that the budget exists, then if necessary we will free it," said Dharma at the DKI Jakarta KPU office, Thursday, August 29.
Dharma revealed the picture of his vision and mission in participating in the Jakarta gubernatorial election contestation is a safe effort to save lives for the people of Jakarta. I invite all of us to unite, together, to fight together to save our families," he said.
