Bitget Launches Crypto Wallet Access Feature Via Telegram
JAKARTA - Bitget, a leading crypto trading platform, is again showing its innovation by launching a new feature that allows users to create and access crypto wallets directly via Telegram.
This feature leverages Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology, which allows Telegram users to access their wallets without the need to remember the mnemonic phrase or go through a complicated security process. With this, Bitget hopes to expand its adoption of crypto technology by simplifying the login process and eliminating the need to manage personal keys.
Bitget's achievement in providing easy access does not stop there. In July 2024, Bitget Wallet recorded more than 1.6 million downloads on Google Play and the Apple App Store, ahead of MetaMask which only recorded 1.5 million downloads in the same period.

To date, Wallet's Bitget has been used by more than 30 million users worldwide, with annual growth rates reaching 150%. This figure shows how much user confidence in Bitget services is.
However, amid this success, shocking news emerged regarding the arrest of Pavel Durov, founder and CEO of Telegram, at Bourget Airport, France. Although the reason for Durov's arrest has not been revealed, several sources close to the investigation mentioned Durov's alleged involvement in drug trafficking and fraud cases. This detention sparked debate over freedom of speech and privacy, which has been the main foundation of Telegram.
Bitget innovation in facilitating access to crypto wallets via Telegram confirms the company's commitment to making crypto technology more inclusive and user-friendly.
With a simpler and safer login feature, Bitget is trying to reach more users who may not be familiar with crypto technology. This move is expected to encourage more people to enter the crypto world without having to worry about complex technical processes.
