Who Would Have Thought, Used To Get Criticized By Jokowi, Fahri Hamzah Now The Idol Of Kaesang Pangarep: Fan, He Is Critical
JAKARTA - Who doesn't know Fahri Hamzah. His prestige as 'senayan tiger' when he served as chairman of the 2014-2019 House of Representatives should not be doubted. Fahri is so vocal in providing criticism that he recommends a solution for every problem.
The target of Fahri's criticism is of course related to state institutions, ministers to the number one person in the republic, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Who would have thought, Fahri's figure was admired by Kaesang Pangarep, Jokowi's youngest son.
This was revealed by Kaesang when he met Fahri at the Solo Mayor's Official House Loji Gandrung, Saturday, March 27 evening. Initially Fahri met Kaesang's older brother who was also the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
After the meeting, Fahri, who now serves as Deputy Chairman of the Gelora Party, explained the purpose of his visit.
"We discuss a lot about the future, city management. We at the Gelora Party also offer concepts that we can use. In our tagline we are collaborating. Of course, he also expressed a lot of his dreams about how to build this city in the future," Fahri replied.
Fahri hopes that from Solo a message of reconciliation will appear for Indonesia. The dynamics up to the residual political conflicts in the past need not be inherited for future generations. Gibran, as the youngest mayor to enter the present generation, must carry out this task.
After explaining that, Gibran then told Fahri that his brother wanted to meet him. Apparently, Kaesang was already at the official residence and waiting for Fahri. Once welcome, Kaesang then came forward and greeted him.
The media crew then asked why Kaesang wanted to meet Fahri. In the past, when he was still active as a politician in the PKS to the leadership of the DPR RI, Fahri was very keen to criticize Jokowi.
"You (Fahri) were your critic first," asked the media crew.
"You know, criticality is needed, so it's not natural to be a problem. I see Pak Fahri is really good. I like his way, always critical," replied Kaesang.
"Got annoyed with Fahri," asked the media again.
"Never at all. Instead, I am an fan, if I'm annoyed I can't be here," said Kaesang greeted with laughter from Fahri.
After the meeting, Gibran admitted that he did not speak seriously at the meeting which lasted approximately 30 minutes.
"Just coffee, no serious political talks. The name is establishing friendship, there is no discussion," explained Gibran.
