Two Men In Cipayung, East Jakarta, Attacked By Machetes After Leaving Alfamidi
JAKARTA - Two residents named Alfian (20) and Syahruddin alias Daeng Udin (55) were injured by sharp weapons by a group of people in front of Alfa Midi, Jalan Rawa Binong, RT 01/11, Lubang Buaya Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman Capandi, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Saturday, August 24.
"Two victims were seriously injured by a sharp weapon stab as a result of being beaten. It has been reported to the Cipayung Police," said AKP Hotman when confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 26.
The victim reported the incident with a report letter from LP/B/86/VII/2024/SPKT/CIPAYUNG POLICE/EAST JAKARTA METRO POLICE/POLDA METRO JAYA, Date: 24 August 2024.

"The victim was allegedly beaten by several groups of teenagers who attacked the victim at the crime scene," he said.
The beating incident began when the two victims had just bought mineral water at Alfamidi. The two victims then came out and were attacked by the perpetrators using sharp weapons.
The two victims suffered stab wounds to the right knee and left hand. After slashing the victim, the perpetrators then fled. The victim was rushed to the hospital and finally made a police report at the Cipayung Police Station.
"We are still hunting down the perpetrators," he said.
