There Are 24 Land Procurement Packages At IKN, 9 Completed And 15 In Process

JAKARTA - As one of the implementers in the construction of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has determined 24 land acquisition packages for infrastructure in the archipelago.

"24 land acquisition packages for the infrastructure of the capital city of Nusantara in North Penajam Paser Regency and Balikpapan City consist of 9 packages after the land acquisition stage, 4 packages for the delivery of partial results and 11 packages are in the process of land acquisition," explained the Ministry of ATR/BPN as quoted from its official Instagram @kementerian.atrbpn, Monday, August 26.

A total of 9 land acquisition packages that were declared complete include wastewater treatment installations (IPAL) and IKN integrated waste treatment stations, logistics piers, Sepaku Semoi Dam facilities, Sepaku Semoi Dam stage 1 and the Sepaku River intake stage I.

Then, there is a change in the Sepaku River phase II, the duplication of the Balang Island Bridge short-span, additional short-span bridge duplications and drinking water management systems and installations of drinking water managers in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) IKN.

Previously, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said his ministry had 21 packages of completion of land acquisition at IKN.

AHY said that 12 land acquisition packages had been completed until June 2024. Meanwhile, there are 9 other packages that are still on going.

"The Ministry of ATR/BPN has actually carried out land acquisition. There are 21 packages and in the last weeks there have been several procurement packages that have been completed. Meanwhile, there are 9 packages still on going," AHY said in a media gathering at his office, Friday, June 7.

"(The land acquisition package) is for phase 1 infrastructure, drinking water management system (SPAM). Then, there is a shortcut road in the Sepaku market and finally the toll road access to IKN," he continued.
