Examine Cita Citata's Indonesian Sword, KPK: If Rp. 100 Million Is Paid Rp. 3 Billion, It Is Suspect
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted an examination of the Cita Citata sword. The reason why the anti-corruption commission conducted an investigation was to study the fees received by Cita Citata when she attended a Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) event in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara.
"Is this the Cita Citata of the singer? Yes, of course the first is whether he knows the money used to pay the person concerned from corruption money. That is what we must understand, ”said KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata at the Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, March 26.
He said that if Cita Citata received an honorarium according to the set rate then that would be normal. For example, for one gig, Cita-Citata is paid Rp. 100 million.
"Unless he used to be paid Rp. 100 million, then paid Rp. 3 billion, of course it should be suspected as an act of laundering money, and we will ask for an excess of the rate as he received," he said.
"So, it has to be seen first and I think investigators will explore it there," added Alex.
Previously reported, the name of the sworddut Cita Citata had appeared at the trial of the COVID-19 social assistance bribery case with the accused who gave the bribe, namely Harry Sidabukke and Ardian IM.
In the trial, Cita Citata was mentioned by former PPK Kemensos Adi Wahyono who was present as a witness. According to the suspect who received the bribe in this case, Cita Citata had attended and attended a Ministry of Social Affairs event in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara and received an honorarium of IDR 150 million.
In the case of bribery for social assistance COVID-19 in Jabodetabek, the KPK named a number of suspects including former Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Peter Batubara.
Apart from Juliari, the KPK also named four other suspects, namely the Commitment Making Officer at the Ministry of Social Affairs (PPK) MJS and AW as the recipient of the bribe and AIM and HS as the giver of the bribe.
