Armand Maulana Alludes To The Role Of Fans And Ex-Personnel At The 30th Anniversary Of GIGIInfinity
JAKARTA - The vocalist of Gigi's band, Arman Maulana, feels that he cannot walk so far without the presence of loyal fans and personnel who have and participated in raising the band created in 1996.
"So the song was a special request from Gigi Kita. They asked us to perform a song that had never been performed on stage before," said Armand.
Armand also talked about how many people have contributed to the greatness of GIGI. The vocalist mentioned the names of former personnel who still maintain good relations.
"For the next song, this is for people who have raised GIGI, which once existed in GIGI, there is Ronald Fristianto (drums), the late Baron (guitar), there is Budhy Haryono (drums)* there is also Opeth (bass) who previously played," said Armand.

"Without them too, it is impossible for GIGI to last up to 30 years. We present this next song to the GIGI extended family that was with us in the 90s," he continued.
The GIGI band held a concert to celebrate 30 years of work with the title GIGIIInfinity at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta tonight, Saturday, August 24. Armand Maulana (vocals), Dewa Budjana (guitar), Thomas Ramdhan (bass), and Gusti Hendy (drums) climbed onto the stage at 19.50 WIB, greeted by the boisterous absence of thousands of spectators present.
Of the more than 30 songs shown, GIGI decided to play a repertoire that had never performed before on stage, namely 'Basa-Basi', a song from the album 3/4 which was released in 1996.
