Search For False Bombers At Ahmad Yani's House, Police Dig Security Testimony

JAKARTA - The investigation team of Polda Metro Jaya has examined three witnesses regarding the discovery of a suspicious object in front of the house of the Indonesian Diving Action Coalition (WE) declarator Ahmad Yani.

The three witnesses were among the people who first found the item. Items that were originally mistaken for bombs. However, after investigating it, it turned out that the item was not a bomb.

"There are currently two witnesses. Both employees with the initials AY, (and another) initials MA and security S," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Friday, March 26.

Yuri said he checked the local security, namely S, because he opened the bag containing the fake bomb. Apart from that, he is also the security force in the area.

So far, his party is still looking for other supporting evidence to find the person who placed the object. "We are still gathering all the evidence. We are waiting for the investigators," said Yusri.

Previously, the police stated that the fake bomb found in the vicinity of the residence of Indonesian Diving Action Coalition (WE) declarator Ahmad Yani did not have a detonator. Although, there is a series like the original bomb.

"The sequence is correct but it will not explode because the trigger is not there," said Yusri

The series found in the fake bomb, said Yusri, included batteries and cables. In fact, gunpowder was found which is often used as a material for making firecrackers

"After it was opened and concluded by Puslabfor it was a fake bomb," he said.
