Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim, said that initially, he wanted to mourn at the funeral home on Jalan Bincarung, Heulang, Bogor City, but because there was information from the family stating that the funeral of the deceased was carried out in Kuningan Regency, the mourning agenda was canceled.
"Information from the family stated that the deceased was buried in Kuningan Regency today", said Dedie A Rachim, in Bogor City, as reported by Antara.
Information from the President Director of the hospital, Ilham Chaidir, stated that the funeral process for the late Eddy Gunardi was carried out using the COVID-19 protocol procedure. The body of the deceased was immediately dispatched from the hospital to Kuningan.

"When he was the mayor, he fought for the boundaries of Bogor City and Regency. He made a big contribution to the development of Bogor City", he said.
Previously, Dedie A Rachim and Bogor Mayor Bima Arya visited Eddy Gunardi when he was sick, to stay in touch at his residence on Jalan Bincarung, Heulang, Tanah Sareal, Bogor City, two years ago.
The gathering was held by Bima Arya and Dedie A Rachim, after attending the Bogor City DPRD Special Plenary Meeting on the 537th anniversary of Bogor Anniversary (HJB) in 2019.
Bima Arya and Dedie Rachim who came accompanied by their respective wives were received by Eddy Gunardi's wife and their families.
Eddy's family then invited the guests to the room where Eddy Gunardi was being treated. Bima and Dedie are seen kissing Eddy's hand, who is lying in pain, bending over his body.
