Winning Aklamation, Bahlil Inaugurated As Chairman Of Golkar Today

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party continued the XI National Conference (Munas) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) today. On the second day, the Golkar Party National Conference scheduled the determination of Bahlil Lahadalia as the new chairman.

The first agenda will start with meetings and commission reports at 09.00 WIB.

"This morning the National Conference activity will be a commission meeting consisting of 3 commissions, the Organizational Comis, the General Program Commission of the Golkar Party, and the Political Statement & Recommendation Commission," said Secretary of the Golkar National Conference Ace Hasan Syadzily to reporters, Wednesday, August 21. Furthermore, at 10.00 WIB the discussion and determination of the nomination and election procedures for the Ketum Golkar for the period 2024-2029. Then announced and appointed Bahlil as Ketum by acclamation after the caketum conveyed the vision and mission.

"It was followed by the determination of the elected General Chair, Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia, who is the only Golkar Party caketum that meets the requirements, especially the support of 30 percent of the National Conference voters," explained the chairman of the Golkar DPP.

The closing ceremony of the Golkar Party's XI National Conference is scheduled to take place at 19.00 WIB. At this closing ceremony, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and President-elect Prabowo Subianto and the political party leaders are scheduled to attend.
