The Ministry Of PUPR Led By Basuki Hadimuljono Gets A MURI Record To Build IKN Quickly
JAKARTA - The ministry led by Basuki Hadimuljono, namely the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) received a number of MURI records for the'speed' aspect in building the capital city of the archipelago (IKN). Even so, PUPR denied that this meant that the government was speeding up building a new capital city.
A number of MURI PUPR records are known to have been obtained by the Directorate General of Housing, namely for the construction of the Phase II Construction Worker Residential (HPK), the construction of the TNI Modular Residential Residential (JMT) with a work period of 180 hours and the Fastest Modular Topping Off Hunian with a work time of 6 hours.
Responding to this, the Director General of Housing at the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, said that the achievements obtained by his party were not in the context of 'fasting up the RI Anniversary ceremony, but an innovation.
"If there is a MURI record, it is actually an achievement, but especially we have to innovate. There is no gas for August 17. So, we are still working on it, it's not speeding either. For this country, we have to build it in a better way," said Iwan at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, quoted Wednesday, August 21.
"The time in China has been built in a matter of hours we can't? We have proven it can. So, it's not speeding," he continued.

Iwan explained that the PUPR target itself was not set for the Indonesian Independence Day or after. The target for the ceremony in question is basic infrastructure that can be used partially or functionally.
One project he explained was that it was functional for the 79th Indonesian Independence Day yesterday was the ASN-Hankam Flats. At that time, there were 400 to 500 units in 12 towers that could be used and accommodated up to 2,000 people for the August 17 Ceremony. As for the HPK project, it can accommodate around 3,000 people.
He also ensured that the construction of various basic infrastructure projects in IKN would continue. One of them is the ASN-Hankam Flat which is targeted to be fully completed in December 2024, the project is known to have 47 towers.
"After this construction (ASN-Hankam Flats), we will continue again," he added.
