Jasa Marga Affirms Commitment To Increase Toll Road Connectivity
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga affirms its commitment to increasing the connectivity of toll roads in Indonesia in order to accelerate economic growth.
Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said that the spirit of independence was an inspiration for Jasa Marga in increasing the length of toll roads in Indonesia.
"We believe that qualified infrastructure is the foundation of the nation's progress. Therefore, Jasa Marga is committed to continuing to expand toll road networks throughout Indonesia, in order to support community mobility and more efficient distribution of goods," said Lisye in Jakarta, Saturday.
In the spirit of 79 Years of Indonesia's independence, Jasa Marga emphasized its commitment to contribute to national development.
As a pioneer SOE in toll road management in Indonesia, Jasa Marga continues to strive to improve connectivity and accelerate economic growth through the development of toll road infrastructure.
Lisye added that during the last few years Jasa Marga has also succeeded in completing a number of toll road projects that have had a major impact on the Indonesian community and economy.
In managing the new toll road project which is targeted to be completed in stages in the next five years, Jasa Marga is committed to achieving the target that has been set optimally, while controlling toll road construction activities gradually.
Currently, the Company has several projects that are in the construction and land acquisition stage, namely, the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road, the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road, the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulonprogo Toll Road, the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road and the Patimban Access Toll Road, said Lisye.
Not only that, Jasa Marga also plays an active role in the development of toll road service technology innovation. This commitment is shown in improving the quality of operational services provided by Jasa Marga Group to road users, one of which is by developing the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) which functions to manage integrated toll road traffic services, as well as becoming a source of traffic information center through the Jasamarga Integrated Digitalmap (JID) super-app which is used at the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) and can also be accessed by road users through the Travoy application.
This technology supports Jasa Marga in providing optimal services to the community, especially during the period of Eid homecoming and New Year's Christmas.
Established in 1978, Jasa Marga has become a leader in the toll road infrastructure sector with the longest and widest toll road network in Indonesia with a total length of Jasa Marga Group toll roads that have operated along 1,264 KM representing 47 percent of toll roads operating throughout Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the total toll road concession owned by the Company is 1,736 km throughout Indonesia. Through innovation and commitment to excellent service, Jasa Marga continues to play an active role in encouraging the progress and welfare of the Indonesian people.
