This was conveyed by Yusuf regarding the circulation of the news that a reshuffle of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet would be carried out in the near future.
"We haven't heard about the cabinet reshuffle. The President has said that 'if necessary'," Yusuf said in a written statement at the capital city of Nusantara, East Kalimantan, Wednesday (14/8).
Yusuf said that President Jokowi has the prerogative to reshuffle this cabinet.
President Joko Widodo previously also emphasized that a cabinet reshuffle would only be carried out if necessary.
"Yes, if needed. I've been talking for a long time, if needed. I still have that prerogative," Jokowi explained on the sidelines of work activities at IKN.
When asked further about the possibility of ministers being replaced, President Jokowi was reluctant to answer the news.
The President then asked the media crew a question about where the issue came from.
"Who did he say? Who did he say? Yes, there is an issue, I don't have to answer, I don't have to answer," said the President.
