Member Of Police Suspected In The Shooting Case Of FPI Troops Dies Because Of An Accident
JAKARTA - One police officer who was reported in the case of unlawful killing, the shooting of the FPI paramilitary army, died in an accident.
"During the title of the case I received information that one of the suspects had died due to an accident", said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, Thursday, March 25.
Regarding the unlawful killing report, 3 members of Jakarta Metro Police were reported. This report is the second in a series of cases of clashes between members of the police and the six militias of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
Where the police were forced to shoot four members of the FPI troops. But the shooting was allegedly considered an unlawful killing because the police did not make other efforts to avoid the loss of life.
The promise of investigating this case was conveyed by the Chief of Police, Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Listyo Sigit ordered his staff to immediately settle the case for the deaths of 6 Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) troops. The case went up to the investigation.
Chief of Police reason, this case has become public attention. Therefore, the settlement of the case must be done because the Ministry of Human Rights has submitted a recommendation.
"Regarding cases of public concern such as KM 50, they will immediately be resolved", said Listyo at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday, February 16.
"Because there is already a recommendation from the National Commission on Human Rights, so of course we have to complete it according to the recommendation", continued the Chief of Police.
