Jokowi Estimates US Dollar At IDR 16,100 In 2025
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the government would continue to be responsive to global dynamics.
He estimates that the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar will be at the level of Rp. 16,100 in 2025.
"The rupiah exchange rate is estimated to be around Rp. 16,100 per US dollar, the 10-year SBN interest rate is at 7.1 percent," he said in a speech delivering the 2025 RAPBN and Financial Notes at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Friday, August 16.
In addition to the rupiah, Jokowi also estimates that the price of Indonesian crude oil (ICP) is estimated at 82 US dollars per barrel.
Oil lifting is estimated at 600,000 barrels per day and natural gas reaches 1.005 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Jokowi said that the government will also continue to strive for an increase in export-oriented high-valued products, which are supported by competitive fiscal incentives while maintaining fiscal sustainability.
"The flow between fiscal, monetary and financial sectors will be maintained to accelerate economic growth and maintain financial system stability," he explained.

Jokowi also said that the 2025 State Budget architecture is an important pillar to maintain sustainability through strengthening various sustainable flagship programs from the current government to the upcoming government.
"The 2025 APBN is designed to maintain stability, inclusiveness, and sustainability to improve welfare and equity through inclusive and sustainable economic growth," he said.
"We must continue structural reforms, maintain healthy and credible fiscal policies, and increase the collaboration of fiscal, monetary and financial policies," he continued.
