PKS Regarding Free Nutrition Eating Program In Jakarta: Count Again, The Budget Is Not Small

Member of the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Suhut Alynudin, asked the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to finalize the budgeting of free nutritious food programs for students in Jakarta. This program is similar to Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka's idea.Suhud reminded that the nominal free meal program budget is quite large if it is carried out regularly according to plan.Through the planning budget, the DKI Provincial Government can get an idea of how much budget is needed to finance the program for one year."This must be calculated again, whether it is possible or not. Because the budget is not small. There are so many children in Jakarta who must be given nutritious food," said Suhud in his statement, Friday, August 16.Suhud emphasized that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government must also know the ability of budget composition to run a free meal program. Given, Jakarta has also implemented a number of subsidized programs. With the knowledge of the ability of the APBD to undergo the program, it is certain that it will need or not an injection of the budget from the central government."It is also impossible for a nutritious eating program with a budget of only Rp. 5,000 to Rp. 7 thousand. That is not possible. Still, the budget that is prepared and budgeted is calculated from now on, then tested in several places," explained Suhud.Previously, Heru Budi Hartono admitted that he had not yet decided where the budget allocation for the free nutritious food program was.Meanwhile, a number of factions of the DKI Jakarta DPRD suggested that Heru Budi allocate a budget for the free meal program at this school from the APBD."Yes, we will see the posture of the APBD. Discussed there (with the DPRD)," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, August 14.In addition, Heru also opened the possibility of a free meal budget for school students in Jakarta allocated from corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from regional-owned enterprises (BUMD)."BuMD friends with their own intention to set an example through their CSR. Yes, it doesn't matter in Jakarta," said Heru.
In the near future, the DKI Provincial Government will begin testing free meals at schools. At least, this trial began after the commemoration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.
