Democrats Are Under SBY-AHY's Control, Many Cadres Cannot Advance To Regional Election
JAKARTA - Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) are said to have persecuted grassroots cadres of the Democratic party. Where grassroots rights are trimmed for a variety of reasons.
"Sociologically, there has been persecution of party members at the grassroots including that experienced by party administrators in provinces and districts/cities, especially since SBY and then AHY continued as Chairman of the Party", said the spokesman for the Democratic Party for the Moeldoko camp, Muhammad Rahmad at the pers conference in Hambalang, West Java, Thursday, March 25.
Not only that, all cadres are also charged a contribution for their leadership. This is of course very burdensome for the party cadres bearing the mercy symbol.
"This is exacerbated by the existence of political dowries in the pilkada, so that many party cadres cannot advance for the elections because they are unable to pay dowries to the DPP", said Rahmad.
"Apart from that, the centralistic and authoritarian conditions of party management by SBY-AHY have deepened the gap between SBY-AHY and regional cadres", said Rahmad.
Thus, the founders and seniors of the party made a movement to change the party. Namely by holding an extraordinary congress (KLB) which was held in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra some time ago.
In this KLB, the seniors and KLB participants appointed Moledoko to be the General Chair replacing Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
