Deputy Secretary General Of MUI Hopes Hajj Special Committee To Work Fair, Don't Be Happy But Improved
JAKARTA - The formation of the 2024 Special Committee (Pansus) is currently rolling. One of the tasks is to evaluate the implementation of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage. Deputy Secretary General of MUI Arif Fahrudin, as quoted from the podcast Radio Elshinta hopes that the DPR can work fairly and proportionally. One of them is to see thoroughly, not only in the 2024 Hajj season, but the previous Hajj season.
"The implementation of the Hajj is not only this year, but from previous years so that it can take fair comparisons," said Arif Fahrudin.
Arif also hopes that the special committee will work to improve the implementation, not for judgment. Because, in the implementation of the 2024 Hajj, the Ministry of Religion is considered to already have innovations. Especially for the elderly congregation or with certain obstacles named the Murur strategy.
This strategy prevents the recurrence of the incidents of concurrent Hajj pilgrims in Muzddalifah during the 2023 Hajj. According to Arif, the Ministry of Religion's efforts to improve the implementation of the hajj must be appreciated.
Previously, a spokesman for the Ministry of Religion, Anna Hasbie, said that although the operation of the Hajj pilgrimage had been closed on July 25, 2024, the testimonies of the pilgrims who were satisfied with the 2024 Hajj service were still flowing. Watch the video below.
