Selling Illegal Subsidized Fuel In Situbondo, 3 Perpetrators Are Thrown In Prison
SITUBONDO - Investigators of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Situbondo Resort Police, East Java, sent three people suspected of misuse of oil fuel (BBM) subsidized by the government with evidence of around 1,200 liters pertalite. The three suspects for misuse of fuel subsidies pertalite have the initials MT (52) a resident of Mimbaan Village, Panji District, SF (46) Dawuhan Village Residents, and HG (45) a resident of Prajekan Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency. "The three suspects allegedly committed misuse of subsidized fuel type pertalite. Kasatreskrim explained that the three suspects in the case of misuse of Pertalite-type government subsidized fuel by buying pertalite at gas stations, then resale it with the intention of obtaining profits. The three suspects were charged under Article 55 of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas Earth as amended Article 40 number 9 of Law Number 6 of 2023. The three of them face a maximum imprisonment of 6 years and a maximum fine of Rp60 billion. "For the case file of three suspects, it is already P-21 or complete along with evidence. We will immediately delegate it to the Situbon District Attorney," said AKP Momon. In the car there are 20 jerry cans.

The other two suspects, SF (46) and HG (45), abused subsidized fuel by buying pertalite at gas stations with a car number L-1248-YE as many as 20 jerry cans. They were arrested by the police in Karangasem, Patokan Village.
