Xpeng G6 Will Soon Be Launching In Malaysia, Coming With Two Variants
JAKARTA - A car manufacturer from China, namely Xpeng, continues to spread its wings to various countries, including launching the G6 model in the Malaysian market which is expected to be at the end of August.
Quoting from the Paultan page, Tuesday, August 13, before officially launching, one of the dealer networks provided an estimated price for the model and will be present in two variants.
In an upload on the Facebook social media page Malaysian Electric Vehicle Owners Club, a user named Xen Xen uploaded an estimated price. Through the message sent, it is written that the standard variant is priced at 175,000 ringgit or around Rp. 623 million, and the highest variant is at 195,000 ringgit (Rp. 684 million).

In specifications, both of them are powered by one rear motorbike and for the Standard variant produces 258 PS power and 440 Nm torque at 435 Standard, which can shoot up from 0 to 100 km/hour in 6.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the higher variant produces up to 286 PS of power and can shoot up to only 5.9 seconds.
Meanwhile, the lowest variant is equipped with a 66 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for WLTP range of 435 km, while the highest uses a nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) 87.5 kWh battery. allows it to cover a distance of up to 570 km on a single charge.
The charging time is also different between the two models. The standard is able to receive DC fast charging up to 215 kW, while Distance can support 280 kW; both will recharge the batteries from 10 to 80% in 20 minutes. The onboard AC 11 kW chargers are standard equipment, charging car packages from 5 to 100% each in 7.5 and 9.5 hours.
This car is also equipped with an advanced driver assistance system, namely Xpilot 2.5, and is also embedded with the Nvidia Orin-X chip which is connected to a five-millimeter wave radar sensor, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 12 cameras to activate functions such as adaptive cruising control, path support, parking assistance, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking, and more.
This manufacturer has also previously opened a G6 model order for the Thai market, and will also soon enter the Australian market.
