Suzuki Officially Sells V-Strom 250 SX In Neighboring Countries, Prices Are More Expensive Than Indonesia

JAKARTA - Suzuki is now officially selling motorcycles with an adventure style V-Strom 250 SX for the Malaysian market. This model will be a direct competitor from Kawasaki Verys-X 250 and Honda CRF250 Rally.

Reporting from Paultan, Monday, August 12, this motorbike is priced at 17,800 ringgit (IDR 63.9 million). This price does not include road taxes, insurance, or registration. The manufacturer presents it in three color options, namely Orange, Yellow, and Black.

This motorbike is designed for trips on highways and off-roads. Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX has a 19-inch rim wrapped in 100/90 tires up front and a 17-inch rim with 140/70 tires on the back.

To support its control, the manufacturer with the 'S' logo uses a non-adjustable telescopic fork suspension in front and a pre-adjustable monoshock on the back.

With the tuning of the suspension, this motorbike has a ground clearance of up to 205 mm. Meanwhile, the seating height is set at 835 mm so that it can support motorists who have a short posture.

Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX weighs up to 167 kg by providing a fuel tank with a capacity of 12 liters.

Meanwhile, the braking system is supported by a single hydraulic disk at the front and back as well as a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) as standard equipment.

This tough bike is equipped with a number of other standard equipment, such as LED lights on the front and rear lights, USB charging ports, digital instrument panels, hand shields, slip plates, and rear shelves, while baggage touring is an optional addition.

Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX has a single cylindrical tough engine SOHC cooled 249 cc liquid capable of delivering 26.5 ps of power at 9,300 rpm and a torque of 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm.

The motorbike is also sold in the Indonesian market at a price of Rp. 59.5 million On The Road DKI Jakarta or cheaper than those sold in neighboring countries.
