Sri Mulyani: Extraordinary IKN Development, According To Planning

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani appreciates the progress of the development of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, which has shown significant acceleration since early 2024.

Sri Mulyani said, IKN is growing and is starting to show real changes with the support of public funds and the involvement of many parties, such as the construction of Boulevard in the National Advertisement.

"It is extraordinary to accelerate from the first month of 2024. So, this hopes that according to planning and with public money, we see a lot of other parties who are also starting to build at IKN. This of course hopes that IKN can live more," Sri Mulyani said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 12.

Sri Mulyani said, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has been working optimally to build IKN, including the National Aquaculture area which is now equipped with a boulevard facility.

"The area will be even more interesting when the entire tree planting process around it has grown and shady," he said.

Sri Mulyani also mentioned that the ministry's buildings have begun to be built, although the Ministry of Finance building is still in the physical development planning stage by the ministry.

"We also saw the building of the four coordinating ministers. He said earlier, the Coordinating Minister and Coordinating Minister had started which one was the hompimpa. The Ministry of Finance building has not been built with the Minister of PUPR," he said.
