The 79th Anniversary Of Indonesian Independence Ceremony Was Held At The Garuda IKN Palace Field

JAKARTA - The joint exercise of the 79th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) was carried out at the Garuda Palace, Nusantara City, the new capital city of Indonesia in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province.

Monitoring in Penajam, Sunday, a joint exercise of the independence ceremony was carried out, namely the raising and lowering of the Red and White flag which was attended by a complete ceremony component.

"Yes, the joint training of the raising ceremony and the lowering of the flag, starts at 07.00 WITA," said one of the personnel who participated in the joint ceremonial training while talking to ANTARA on the sidelines of training.

"Like warming, strengthening movement and formation of ranks is carried out jointly," said another personnel.

The joint exercise of the independence ceremony at the Garuda Palace was attended by the Red and White Heritage Flag-raising Troops (Paskibraka) 2024, ceremonial troops and ceremonial officers.

The music Corps was also present at the joint exercise accompanying the procession of the independence ceremony, and playing the anthem Indonesia Raya and Persisting Cipta.

It was seen that the host began to play a role to guide the joint series of exercises for the Red and White flag lowering ceremony at the Garuda Palace.

The ceremony troops began to prepare themselves neatly to come out from the right and left sides of the field, and arrange formations on the right and left sides of the flagpoles.

After the ceremony troops stood in a neat and upright formation, it appeared that Paskibraka was standing in a row out of the right side of the field neatly in rhythm and seemed so trained.

The 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024, is the inaugural state ceremony in the city of Nusantara, the new capital city of Indonesia.
