A Number Of Ministers Arrived In Balikpapan, Preparation For Cabinet Session At IKN Monday 12 August
JAKARTA - A number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet have arrived at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Sunday, to attend the first plenary cabinet meeting in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) tomorrow. "Tomorrow, we will attend the first plenary cabinet session chaired directly by Mr. President Jokowi," said Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
Monitoring at the location, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan became the first minister to arrive. Followed by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif, Minister of Agrarian Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.
The arrival of the ministers was greeted directly by the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan, Akmal Malik, and the ranks of Forkopimda.
AHY revealed that the implementation of the cabinet meeting at IKN was a historic moment for the Indonesian nation. He hopes that the entire series of activities, including the commemoration ceremony of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, can run smoothly and successfully.

In addition to attending cabinet meetings, AHY will also take advantage of this opportunity to hold internal meetings with the ranks of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in the East Kalimantan region.
"I will meet with land offices in Balikpapan and around the IKN area," he explained.
According to AHY, the presence of the Ministry of ATR/BPN at IKN is expected to provide solutions to various complex land problems and become a challenge in the development of IKN.
"We are committed to continuing to understand problems in the field and providing a quick response to the needs of the community," said AHY.
