North Jakarta Metro Police Assigns 8 Personnel To Become COVID-19 Vaccators

JAKARTA - The North Jakarta Metro Police assigned 8 health workers from the Health Affairs (Urkes) to become the vaccinators for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination.

Head of North Jakarta Metro Police Resources Division AKBP Yayuk Suwitaningsih said the health workers consisted of two doctors, five medical personnel and one midwife.

"There are two doctors, one of whom is the Head of North Jakarta Metro Police, Dr. Ade Jenny, five paramedics and one midwife. So a total of eight," said Yayuk when met at the North Jakarta Police Headquarters.

The eight health workers from the North Jakarta Metro Police Urkes were sufficient for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination against 500 police personnel in the first batch.

"(Vaccinators) We are all from the North Jakarta Metro Police Urkes, which is sufficient. Because all of these 500 people vaccinate at the North Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters," he said.

Thus all members (who were vaccinated) came to the Police Headquarters. "Except for the main officials (PJU) who could not possibly leave the place, we brought doctors there," said Yayuk.

Yayuk said that all health workers who served as vaccinators had previously attended training to carry out vaccinations.

"There are lots of (training). In Polri, the doctor (Ade Jenny) was invited to be a participant to be given an explanation. Polda (Metro Jaya) also invited doctors and health workers at Polres to take part in training so that they would not do wrong actions. , "he said.

After the activity, a certificate was given. "Furthermore, the North Jakarta Health Office will also provide training as well as socialization of vaccinations in North Jakarta. Doctor was invited again," said Yayuk.

The entire training provides readiness for health workers at the North Jakarta Metro Police Urkes to carry out the four stages of vaccination.

Starting from checking body temperature, health checks (screening) in the form of blood pressure and oxygen saturation checks, to the implementation of injections and monitoring of post-vaccination follow-up events (Kipi).

"For registration, there is no need to alert paramedics. The pulse of eight health workers is focused on those four stages," said Yayuk.
