Ganjar Not Take Dizziness 1-2 Residents Who Refuse Vaccines
JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he did not care about the presence of a handful of people who did not want to be injected with the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to him, his party is prioritizing residents in Central Java who have high enthusiasm and can't wait to receive the queue for vaccines.
"If there are 1-2 who don't want to be vaccinated, there are still those who believe that there is no COVID-19. Well, let's do this first because we have a bigger target, let it go first so that our energy won't be lost, "said Ganjar as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 24.
In addition, he said, his party was in the midst of boosting vaccines to community leaders, religious leaders, and other religious leaders. Ganjar believes that more and more residents believe that the vaccine is safe and they should not hesitate to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
"I don't think there is a need to push with sentences, because by talking and using ordinary language, we can actually see the eyes of the people. They are willing and ready (to be vaccinated), ”said Ganjar.
"For me, I'm just joking. They usually ask, 'Sir, have you been vaccinated yet?', 'Oh not'. "Are you ready to be vaccinated?", "Ready!", That's enough for me, "said Ganjar.
Ganjar saw the enthusiasm of the people of Central Java to be vaccinated. Ganjar also hopes that more COVID-19 vaccination centers in his area can be added.
Although currently in Central Java there is a COVID-19 Vaccination Center in Semarang which every day accepts the elderly as the top priority in administering vaccines, there are still many elderly people who do not necessarily get to facilities in the middle of the city.
He also revealed that this week one of his agendas was in discussion with the Ministry of BUMN regarding the preparations for the opening of centers for the provision of COVID-19 vaccinations in more remote areas in Central Java.
"We are preparing designs in Banyu Mas and Purwokerto or it could be in Cilacap. Because in Purwokerto, access from Banyu Mas can be easier. If possible, next week we can do it in parallel," said Ganjar.
