Teki-Teki Cawagub Ridwan Kamil, Observer Duga Initials 'S' Prabowo's Nephew

JAKARTA - The candidate for deputy governor Ridwan Kamil (RK) became a puzzle after General Chairperson of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto gave the initials 'S' as a figure who will run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

Esa Unggul University communication observer, Jamiluddin Ritonga, suspects that the figure with the initials 'S' is Prabowo Subianto's nephew, Rahayu Saraswati alias Sara.

According to Jamiluddin, there are several names with the initials 'S' that have appeared as cagub and cawagub in Jakarta, including Prabowo's nephew and Gerindra Rahayu politician Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, NasDem General Treasurer Ahmad Sahroni, former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Chairman of the PKS DPP Mardani Ali Sera.

"Of the five names, there are three names that have the potential to become representatives of RK. They are Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, Ahmad Sahroni, and Mardani Ali Sera," said Jamiluddin, Saturday, August 10.

However, Jamiluddin assessed that Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo has the most opportunity to become a RK cawagub. Because apart from having a name in Jakarta, Sara is also part of the extended family of the Elected President, Prabowo Subianto.

"Therefore, to strengthen KIM's solidity, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo seems to be prioritized. Apart from of course, Prabowo is now the center of power in the country," he said.

Previously, the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, revealed that the initials 'S' would be carried as a candidate for deputy governor to accompany Ridwan Kamil in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election (Pilgub).

"It's already there. While the initials are S," said Airlangga when met at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Friday, August 9.

Airlangga's statement responded to the media crew's question about the person who would accompany Ridwan Kamil in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. However, when asked about the cawagub with the initials S was PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, Airlangga denied it.

He also denied the name of the Deputy Chairperson of the PKS Shura Council, Sohibul Iman, who was side by side with Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, in the gubernatorial election.

"None of the above (not a single mentioned)," said Airlangga.
