Attacking Each Other With Ukraine, Putin Holds A Meeting To Discuss Terrorism Resistance
JAKARTA - Various aspects of the struggle against terrorism became a topic of meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin with permanent members of the Security Council.
Putin announced plans to discuss the issue at the start of the meeting at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow.
"In today's meeting agenda with permanent members of the Security Council, there are very important issues regarding certain aspects of the fight against terrorism," Putin said as quoted by TASS, Friday, August 9.
Putin then gave FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov the opportunity to make a report.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Secretary of the Security Council Sergey Shoigu.

As previously reported, a Russian missile attack hit a supermarket in the city of Kostitynivka, Ukraine, in the frontline region of Donetsk. The latest data on the death toll was 10 people and 35 others were injured.

Regional Governor Vadym Filashkin initially said Russia used artillery but later said the attack used the X-38 air-to-surface missile.
Nova Postah, Ukraine's largest private postal company, said its cargo office in the supermarket was damaged by the strike.
"All of our employees are still alive. One of his colleagues suffered a concussion he got all the help he needed," the company said in X.
Houses, shops and more than a dozen cars were also damaged in the attack.
