Harum Energy, A Company Owned By The Kiki Barki Conglomerate, Has Died From The Director And Commissioner
JAKARTA - PT Harum Energy Tbk is experiencing grief. The company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the ticker code HRUM has just been left by its Commissioner and Director.
"Has passed away Mr. Basrief Arief as a Commissioner of the Company on March 23, 2021," wrote Harum Energy management, quoted from the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Wednesday, March 24.
Basrief is a former Attorney General. He held that position in President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
This sad news was conveyed by the Head of the General Prosecutor's Office, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak.
"The Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, is sorry for passing away to the presence of Allah SWT, Mr. Basrief Arief bin Bachtiar Arief," said Leonard, Tuesday, March 23.
Basrief Arief passed away at 10:00 WIB. However, there has been no information regarding Basrief Arief's condition before his death.
"Hopefully the deceased's deeds of worship will be accepted by Allah SWT and the door will be opened for maximum forgiveness. Amen Ya Robbal aalamiin," said Leonard.
Basrief Arief served as Attorney General from 26 November 2010 to 20 October 2014.
Previously, Harum Energy was also left by one of its Directors. Eddy Sumarsono, Director of Harum Energy died on March 17, 2021.
"Mr. Eddy Sumarsono passed away as a Director of the Company on March 17, 2021," said the management of Harum Energy.
Harum Energy is a company engaged in the operation and investment in the mining industry, coal trading and services through its subsidiaries. The company started commercial operations in 2007.
Harum Energy's controlling shareholder is PT Karunia Bara Perkasa which is owned by the conglomerate Kiki Barki. Karunia Bara Perkasa narrows 79,792 shares of Harum Energy, based on data as of February 5, 2021.
