The Moment Gibran Bowed In Front Of The KPK Leadership After Socializing The Prevention Of Corruption

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, held a coordination meeting to prevent corruption within the Solo Raya regional government. This activity was carried out at the Tawangarum Hall, Surakarta City Hall Complex.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata. Then, mayors and regents throughout Solo Raya, Director of Region III KPK RI, Chairman of DPRD throughout Solo Raya, Head of Central Java ATR / BPN Regional Office.

Subsequently, Regional Secretaries throughout Solo Raya, President Director of BPD Bank Jateng, all Heads of Land Offices throughout Solo Raya and followed virtually by the ranks of Regional Apparatus Heads throughout Solo Raya.

On the podium, the son of President Joko Widodo expressed his support for the integrated corruption eradication program. This is because a government that is free from corruption will prosper the people.

"The Municipal Government of Surakarta strongly supports the realization of government governance that is clean, transparent, accountable and free from corruption, collusion and nepotism in local governments through the Integrated Corruption Eradication Program," said Gibran as quoted from surakarta.go.id, Wednesday, March 24.

The event continued with remarks from the Deputy Chairman of the KPK, Alexander Marwata, saying that he was currently focusing on preventive measures. With prevention, it is hoped that corruption cases will decrease.

"By not neglecting and by not leaving, the KPK is currently prioritizing preventive measures. Overcoming corruption requires prevention, evaluation, thematic monev, and supervision, ”said Alexander.

Subsequently, a joint commitment was signed by the Central Java Region Integrated Corruption Eradication Program by the Mayor and Regent of Solo Raya.

KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata also gave a placard to Gibran. Gibran, who appeared to be wearing a brown batik shirt, looked down when he received the plaque.
