The Government Provides An Additional 30 Percent Debt Relief Program

The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) again appealed to the public that there is an additional 30 percent debt relief program that will end on September 30, 2024.

"Those who have debts to the state can be paid immediately because the additional 30 percent debt relief will end on September 30, 2024," wrote the announcement on official Instagram @ditjenkn, Wednesday, August 7.

Previously, the Government through the Ministry of Finance provided a debt relief program through the Crash Program mechanism. As stipulated in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 30 of 2024 concerning the Settlement of Government Agencies Receivables Managed/Managed by the State Receivables Affairs Committee/Directorate General of State Assets for Fiscal Year 2024.

Meanwhile, the Crash Program is to optimize the settlement of state receivables that are carried out in an integrated manner in the form of granting debt relief to debt holders. Debt relief is a reduction in debt repayment payments by debt holders by being given a reduction in principal, interest, fines, and/or other costs/cost.

Furthermore, the criteria that can apply for debt relief are debt holders in the form of individuals or legal entities/business entities with remaining liabilities of up to IDR 2 billion.

Then, the management has been submitted to PUPN, for BKPN until 2023 an SP3N has been issued until December 31, 2023 or for the 2024 BKPN, a forced letter has been issued and recorded in the 2020 LKPP/PD.

There are exceptions to state receivables from credit assets of former Bank Dalam Liquidation (BDL). As well as state receivables guaranteed with insurance, surety bonds, bank guarantees and/or other equivalent settlement guarantees. And state receivables that are still in the process of litigating in court.

The application for debt relief can be submitted to the nearest State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL). Otherwise, debt relief can only be obtained at 35 percent if it is supported by collateral in the form of land or land and buildings. Meanwhile, debtors who are not supported by collateral in the form of land or land and buildings get 60 percent debt relief.

The additional debt relief in terms of State Receivables is supported by collateral in the form of land or land and buildings:

Flowers, fines, costs: 100 percent Basic Debt: 35 percent

Additional Basic Debt Relief:1. As of June 2024, it was 40 percent. From July to September 2024, it was 30 percent 3. From October to December 20, 2024, 20 percent

Meanwhile, additional debt relief in terms of State Receivables is not supported by collateral in the form of land or land and buildings:

Flowers. fines, costs: 100 percent Basic Debt: 60 percent

Additional Basic Debt Relief:1. As of June 2024, it was 40 percent. From July to September 2024, it was 30 percent 3. From October to December 20, 2024, 20 percent

Specialized BKPN:

Interest. fines, costs: 100 percent Remaining principal debt: 80 percent (flat)

BKPN specialization without guarantees in the form of land or land and buildings, includes:1. BKPN for hospital patients2. BKPN SPP students/students3. Other BKPN up to Rp8 million.

Meanwhile, debtors who can take advantage of the program are small debtors such as debtors who run micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with a maximum credit ceiling of IDR 5 billion, debtors who receive simple home/home ownership loans are very simple (KPR RS/RSS) with a credit ceiling of at most IDR 100 million, and debtors with remaining liabilities of IDR 1 billion.

Debt persons who meet the criteria can apply for relief in writing to the KPKNL. The written application can be submitted by the debt person, debt guarantor, heir, or third party. The written application can be sent to the address of the KPKNL office or electronically to the KPKNL email address. Requests for complete debt relief are received no later than December 16, 2024.

Debt holders who have received Crash's approval The program must pay off their obligations no later than 30 calendar days after the approval letter is determined. If you do not pay off your obligations according to that period of time, then the Crash Program approval is canceled and the payment that has been made by the Debt Regent is calculated as reducing the amount of principal debt.
