After Nyepi Holiday, JCI Raised 2.64 Percent To 4,041.69

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened higher after the Nyepi holiday. The JCI on Thursday, March 26, opened up 2.64 percent or 104.06 points to 4,041.69.

Opening the trade, there were 118 stocks strengthened, 30 stocks fell, and 68 stocks were stagnant. Trade transactions reached Rp. 184 billion from 123 million shares traded.

Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M. Nafan Aji Gusta Utama sees that technically the index has the potential to strengthen in today's trading.

"Indicates a potential rebound in the JCI movement so that it has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance," he said.

JCI, according to him, tested the resistance levels at 4,122 to 4,408. Meanwhile, in the support area, the index is predicted to be in the range of 3,837 to 3,635.

A number of shares that he recommended for consideration by investors include, shares of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF).

This morning, stocks that entered the top gainers, namely shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) rose IDR 4,300 or 19.1 percent to IDR 26,800, shares of PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) rose IDR 180 or 17.3 percent to Rp1,220 and shares of PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF) increased by Rp140 or 15.9 percent to Rp1,020.

As for the stocks that entered the top losers, among others, shares of PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) fell IDR 9 or 6.9 percent to IDR 121, shares of PT Industri dan Perdagangan Bintraco Tbk (CARS) fell IDR4 or 6.7 percent to IDR55 and shares PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) decreased IDR 80 or 6.6 percent to IDR 1,130.
