JAKARTA - The Mayor of South Tangerang, Airin Rachmi Diany, said that North Serpong Regional Hospital will start operating on March 30. This hospital will focus on serving as a transit hospital for COVID-19 patients from various health centers.
"With the inauguration of North Serpong Regional Hospital, it is hoped that it will make it easier for the public to get health services so that we are able to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Tangsel City," said South Tangerang Mayor Airin Rachmi Diany in his official statement, reported by Antara, Wednesday, March 24. .
Mayor Airin added that with this North Serpong Regional Hospital facility, South Tangerang City has 31 hospitals with details of 28 privately owned hospitals, three government-owned hospitals, namely South Tangerang City Hospital, North Serpong Regional Hospital and Pondok Aren Regional Hospital.
He also said that RSUD Serpong Utara had a legal permit that was issued on January 5, 2021 and the operating permit itself was issued by DPMPTSP on February 23.
He added that in this hospital several facilities have been prepared, namely on the first floor, such as the emergency room, nutrition services to the review of the bodies.
Then on the second floor there are facilities in the form of registration or registration, polyclinics, laboratories, radiology to pharmacy. "The second floor is focused on health services," he said.
In addition, on the third floor, there are operating room, ICU, HCU and NICU facilities. Then patients who have to be hospitalized can use the treatment room facilities on the fourth and fifth floors. "This treatment room can accommodate up to 100 beds," he said.
Then for the human resources at the North Serpong Hospital there are seven general medical personnel and 35 paramedics who have rooms on the fourth floor.
He added that when referring to the population of Tangsel City, which is based on the Ministry of Health's Data and Information Center (Pusdatin), which is 1.7 million people, the ideal composition is to provide health service rooms for COVID-19, which is 800 beds and an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). 50 beds.
"From a total of 800 treatment beds, Tangsel already has 591 of the combined private and government hospitals. And there will be 100 more with the operation of Pakulonan Hospital. This means, Tangsel has 691 beds available from the ideal composition of 800. There are still 109 less treatment beds, "he said.
Then for the ICU the ideal composition is 50 beds and now there are 42 existing ones. In addition, from Pakulonan Hospital, there are six beds, so there are 48 beds. "Two less to meet the ideal composition," he said.
