Lawyer Denies Edward Akbar Embezzled KimberlyRIDer's Car

JAKARTA - Edward Akbar through his attorney, Jundri R. Berutu emphasized that his client denied having embezzled his wife's car, KimberlyRIDer.

According to Jundri, the car, which is a BMW in 2001, is a shared treasure purchased by both of them and includes proof of its payments.

"Actually, the property was bought together, there is evidence of mutual purchase, so in our opinion there is no embezzlement," said Jundri R. Berutu at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, August 5.

Although the car was purchased on behalf of Kimberly Border, Jundri confirmed that the car was purchased at the time of the wedding and for a joint decision.

"Yes, as far as we know on behalf of kimberly, but it was purchased within the period of the marriage and it was on a joint decision. According to the two of them," added Jundri.

Jundri admitted that he did not want to talk much in advance regarding the details of the alleged car embezzlement case that was sent to Edward Akbar from KimberlyRIDer.

He only emphasized that Edward Akbar's status in this case was still as a witness and the examination should have been scheduled for Monday, August 5 was to ask for clarification from Edward's side.

"But we don't want to go ahead because this is still in the clarification stage, the clarification process has not yet been examined as a witness or examined further. Therefore, we will wait, later after the examination we will update it again," he said.
